Shanghai- the last days

Im already in Norway now.

Feels a bit unreal to think that my life in Shanghai has come to an end already…but Beijing lies ahead!

On Friday we had our graduation ….thing….

I FINALLY got a hat after 7 years of studying. Thank you very much.

Dear old Mao got to be our background piece

On Saturday I had lunch with Howard French, which was great. He changed my mind about somethings. For example I will no longer worry about North Korea that much. Feels fantastic.

I went out with Bex on Saturday one last time, and spent most of Sunday trying to pack and run some last errands.

And that was that.

This picture is sheer perfection! The emerald green trees, Mao’s imposing and solemn figure in the background, the jubilation on your faces (all clearly international of course). It’s joyful and irreverent and innocent and momentous in a 2010 kind-of-way all at once.
